NCS Health Office

About Nurse Johnson...

I have been a nurse for roughly 15 years. I graduated from GCU in 2004. I have worked as a pediatric ICU nurse at Phoenix Children's, labor and delivery at Good Sam, home health and school nursing. Before I came to NCS, I was a school nurse for the Deer Valley Unified School District. I love working with kids and their families. Keeping kids safe and healthy at school is my number one priority. When I am not at school, I love to read, knit, cross-stitch, hike, travel up north to our cabin and spend time with my husband and 4 kids. My office is always open during school hours, so please feel free to stop in or contact me by email with any questions at Michelle Johnson or call me at 602-978-5134.

Sincerely, Michelle Johnson, BSN, RN

Notification Process for Head/Neck Injuries

If you receive an email from the health office that is in regards to a 'head bump', please do not be alarmed. The health office sends emails for any minor or major head bumps. If a student has symptoms that need additional contact to the primary parent listed, then a phone call will be made as well as a 'head bump' email sent. For new families, you will receive an additional email with a password that you will need to keep while your child is at NCS. You need the password in order to open the encrypted email. For returning families, if you need your password resent, please contact the health office. If you have any questions or need clarification, please contact Nurse Johnson at Michelle Johnson or 602-978-5134.
